The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi College Of Engineering is a center of technological innovation that integrates electronics, communication systems, and digital technologies to address real-world engineering challenges.
The department aims to mold students into competent professionals capable of designing, developing, and implementing advanced electronic circuits, communication systems, embedded devices, and automation solutions.
With modern laboratories, industry-experienced faculty, research-driven learning, and continuous skill development programs, the department provides a strong foundation in core electronics along with exposure to emerging technologies like IoT, VLSI, Robotics, Embedded Platforms, and 5G Communication.
B.E. Electronics & Communication Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate programme that combines fundamental engineering knowledge with advanced communication and electronic system design.
The course covers a wide range of topics including signal processing, digital electronics, microprocessors, wireless communication, optical communication, embedded systems, semiconductor devices, and network theory.
Students gain practical experience through laboratory work, industry internships, collaborative projects, and participation in national-level technical events. The curriculum equips graduates to excel in diverse electronics, communication, IT, and automation-based career paths.
